Ben Nicely was the guest speaker at Oxford Presbyterian Church on Sunday morning, July 30. William Hughes was the pianist.

The four-cents-a meal offering will be received on Sunday, Aug. 6. This offering helps support the local food pantry and the community table.

The annual Ice Cream Supper sponsored by the Palmer Community Center and Effinger Ruritan Club will be held at the center on Saturday, Aug. 19.
