Thanks to Larry Creamer, lay pastor from Lexington for bringing the morning message this past Sunday at High Bridge Presbyterian Church. He was accompanied by his wife, Karen. Several members of his Methodist morning prayer group attended the worship service. Other guests included Sharon and Bear Tolley.
Next Sunday, Linda Trumbo of Covington will bring the morning message and the hunger offering will be received.
High Bridge Bible School was held this past Saturday at Cave Mountain Lake and the children enjoyed the day cooling off in the mountain lake.
Upcoming events in August with dates to come will include the Hootenanny, Small Church Gathering and Presbyterian Women’s Coordinating team.
Natural Bridge/Glasgow food pantry will be open Saturday, Aug. 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. Thanks to everyone that donated peanut butter and mac n’ cheese for our pantry.
The Hootenanny which was a great success on July 20 with special musical guest, retired Rev. Marina Gopadze despite the thunderstorm. Everyone enjoyed making their own ice cream sundaes after the music.
