Billy Radford was the guest of honor at a dinner given by the congregation of The Church of God of Prophesy on Fitzlee St in Glasgow this past Sunday, to celebrate his 80th birthday. Happy birthday, Billy!

The guest speaker at Glasgow Baptist Church this past Sunday was the Rev. Mike Palmer of Roanoke. Special music was provided by Amy Hinkle. Palmer will be speaking again this coming Sunday.

The next Community Table dinner will be at the Thompson Community Center on Aug. 9. This is open to the public at no cost.

Southpaw will be providing the entertainment at the next Rockin’ the Gorge music event, to be held at the Locher Pavilion on Aug. 12.
