Ramon Larry Dunlap, 90, of Lexington died Aug. 4

 

Ramon Larry Dunlap, 90, of Lexington died Friday, Aug. 4, 2023, at his home.

Born Jan. 16, 1933, in Huntington, W.Va., he was a son of the late Edward Lee Dunlap and Sally Smith Dunlap.

Ramon attended St. Patrick Catholic Church and retired from the U.S. Secret Service as a special agent. He also served his country in the U.S. Army (Korea) with the 187th Regimental Combat Team of the 101st Airborne. He received a bachelor's degree from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va.

Surviving are his wife, Susan Castiglia Dunlap; children, Shawn Dunlap (Vicki), Dana Dunlap (Sara), and Daniel Dunlap (Karen); and three grandchildren, Victoria, Kaela and Cole.

Interment will be held at Woodmere Cemetery in Huntington, W.Va., at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Rockbridge SPCA, 10 Animal Place, Lexington, VA 24450.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
