Goshen is the place to go for a beach party Saturday, Aug. 12, from 1 to 7 p.m. at the steel bridge across from the first aid field.
A fundraiser for Blaine Lawhorn and Mike Hicks, the event had been postponed from June because of rain.
There will be bounce houses for the kids, local vendors, carnival games and a 50/50 drawing. “Get your throwing arms ready, there’s a dunking booth!” said a spokesperson for the fundraiser.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Glen Shelton from 1 to 3 p.m., Keith Bryant from 3 to 5 and Bruce Allen and Jason Burke from 5 to 7. All bands will perform together at 5.
