Retired Teachers To Meet Aug. 21

The Rockbridge Retired Teachers will meet on Monday, Aug. 21, at the Holiday Inn Express on U.S. 11 north of Lexington. The meeting will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a bag lunch at noon.

The luncheon speakers will be Jeannie Chenault and Robert Irving, representing the Virginia Retirement System. They will explain the services and benefits available to members.

During the month of August the RRTA sponsors a food drive for the Rockbridge Area Relief Association. Those attending are asked to donate either non-perishable food items or are encouraged to make a cash contribution.
