DAVID “RUNT” RAMSEY

David Wayne “Runt” Ramsey, 62, of Natural Bridge Station was called home with family by his side on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023.

Born May 27, 1961, in Lexington, he was a son of the late Pat E. Ramsey Sr. and Lucille Creasey Ramsey.

Runt enjoyed spending time outdoors, repairing lawn mowers, four-wheelers and tinkering with just about anything with an engine. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was employed with Mohawk for over fifteen and onehalf years.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Lisa Pugh Ramsey; sons, Justin Ramsey (Hilary) and Brandon Ramsey, both of Natural Bridge Station; daughter, Tamara Higgins (Travis) of Buena Vista; five grandchildren, Brennan Roberts, Justin Ramsey Jr., Remington Ramsey, Kayleigh Rosson and Jordyn Rosson; and two brothers, Robert Ramsey (Betty) of Lexington and Daniel Ramsey(April) of Buena Vista.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. W. David Bain. Interment will follow at Glasgow Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory. N-G
