Allen Lee Davis, 73, of Buena Vista died Aug. 12

Allen Lee Davis, 73 of Buena Vista died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, at his home.

Born July 16, 1950, in Lexington, he was a son of the late Maynard Lee Davis and Eva Estelle Camden Davis. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie June Copper Davis; and brothers Dennis James Davis and Larry Maynard Davis.

Allen retired from Dana Corporation.

Surviving are his children, Angie Hostetter (Mickey), and Tara Hostetter (Clifford); grandchildren, Scottie Hostetter (Kari), Hallie Hostetter, and Laura McDaniel (Chris); nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Huffman (Mike), and Lisa Canellas (John); and brother; Steve Davis (Judy).

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, at Green Hill Cemetery by Pastor Derryl LaFave.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
