High Bridge mourns the loss of its second oldest member, Peg Braford who passed away Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023. A full notice of her obituary was in last week’s News-Gazette.

Next Sunday, Aug. 20, Linda Trumbo will bring the morning message.

Thanks to all who supported the Natural Bridge Volunteer Fire Department’s pork dinner and homemade ice cream fundraiser this past Sunday.

Upcoming events this month at High Bridge include the Hootenanny on Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. with guest Marina Gopadze, Small Church Gathering on Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. and Presbyterian Women’s Coordinating team on Aug. 27 after worship.

Recent visitors at the home of Jane Shafer were Noah, Peyton and Reba Jane Simms of Statesboro, Ga.

The Natural Bridge/Glasgow food pantry will be open Thursday, Aug. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon.
