Prepare for the Fair

Now is the time to make plans to participate in the great fun and traditions of the Rockbridge County Fair and Expo Thursday, Sept. 7, through Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Locher Pavilion in Glasgow.

Before schedules become overw helmed with back-toschool comm itments, now is a great time for families to put together art or photography exhibits, plan to show off that great family cake recipe, or bring some fresh or beautifully preserved garden produce. The Rockbridge Fair Book will soon be published online at https:// www.rockbridgefairandexpo. org/ and printed copies will be available at the Rockbridge Extension office and several area businesses.

The Rockbridge Regional Fair and Expo affords families a great opportunity for multigenerational teams to work together and in the process capture life-long memories and perhaps even a blue ribbon that may become a cherished keepsake and reminder of time spent together. Plan to attend to take part in everything a great county fair has to offer from live music and an exciting carnival to farm animals and great food and treats. All of this is beautifully situated in the lovely town of Glasgow where the rivers and the mountains meet.
