The city of Lexington and Threshold Housing Commission are seeking public input on a proposed city-wide housing conditions windshield survey and needs assessment.
The city intends to apply for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Planning Grant funds through the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development to fund the proposed project.
Threshold will hold a public input meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at 5 p.m. in the second floor meeting room at City Hall.
At the meeting, Threshold and Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission representatives will provide an overview of the proposed CDBG planning grant as well as potential future activities related to housing conditions in the city. The public will also be invited to address any concerns related to the project and share feedback on housingrelated needs in Lexington. For more information, call Olivia Raines at (540) 688-3331.
