The annual Black family reunion was held at the home of Richard Black on Moores Creek Road on Sunday afternoon.

A large crowd attended the Palmer Community Center ice cream supper on Saturday afternoon. Proceeds from this event will benefit the center and programs of the Effinger Ruritan Club.

The Neighborhood Grocery needs low-sugar fruit drinks and boxed macaroni and cheese for this month.
