Faith Baptist Church will be having their annual business meeting on Aug 27 at 6 p.m. and a Men’s Prayer Breakfast on Aug 30 at 8 a.m.

Many thanks to the Rev. Jeanette Pillsbury for leading a service of Holy Eucharist this past Sunday at St. John’s Episcopal Church and for the beautiful music provided by Bert Buford on organ and Josh Gardner on euphonium and cornet this week. Thanks also to Courtney VanOsten for hosting coffee hour. Also, many thanks to Brandall Branch for getting St. John’s Sunday school started this week for kids.

My husband Josh nearly collided with a bear as it crossed U.S. 11 just south of Natural Bridge last Wednesday night around 8 on his way home from work. As always, please be mindful of local wildlife when driving, especially at night, not just in our area, but everywhere!
