Thank you to everyone who has brought in supplies for the school kits for Presbyterian Disaster assistance. We have 36 school kits ready to go and bags for another 30 that can be filled. Boxes for donations are at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church; cash or check can be given and someone at church will do the shopping.

Laura Hotinger had eight young musicians in her piano class after church Sunday.

Prayer group meets at church on Tuesday mornings at 7. Bible study is at Lexington Presbyterian Church at 10:30 on Tuesdays.

Men’s group meets at 7 a.m. at Sweet Treats on Wednesdays.

Elders for 2023 are Deb Jarrett, Hope Bird, Teresa Thompson and Tim Hodges; elders for 2024 are John Welsh, Erin Graves, Tim Welsh; and elders for 2025 are Janet Drake, and Sarah Burleson. Trustee for 2023 is Gary Swink; for 2024, Laura Hotinger; for 2025, Lauren Welsh.

New Monmouth will host a pancake dinner on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at church from 5 to 6:30. All from the community are welcome to attend. The dinner is free, but should anyone want to make a donation, all money (or canned goods) will be given to the local food bank.
