Wednesday, Aug. 30 -- The Parry McCluer volleyball team's home-and-home series against Altavista has been canceled and will not be made up.
The Fighting Blues (0-3) were slated to visit the Colonels on Thursday, followed by the return match in Buena Vista on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Both games have been scratched from the schedule.
PM will now return to action at home next Wednesday, Sept. 6 against Alleghany, beginning with the junior varsity contest at 5:30 p.m. The Blues fell 3-0 to the Cougars on the road on Aug. 24.
