Ray Lee Hall, 74, of Lexington died Aug. 29

 

Ray Lee Hall, 74, of Lexington died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023, at his home.

Born April 6, 1949, in Lexington, he was a son of the late Raymond A. Hall and Martha Bell Riley Hall.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Hall.

Ray loved the Lord and was a dedicated and faithful member of Faith Mountain Baptist Church. He loved his family and especially his grandkids and enjoyed working in the garden.

Surviving are his wife, Clara Carter Hall; children, LeAlice Vest (Eric), Ginny Montgomery (John), and J.R. Hall; three grandchildren, Adam Camden, Ashley Vest and John Wesley Montgomery; and six great-grandchildren, Dylan Camden, Airica Clark, Kadence Clark, Elizabeth Montgomery, Wesley Montgomery and Raylyn Camden.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. William Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
