High Bridge

Esther Pennington, High Bridge Presbyterian Church will receive the Fifth Sunday Mission Offering on Jan. 29.

The High Bridge Small Gathering Group will meet Thursday, Jan 26, at 7 p.m. in the church fellowship room. Joe Hawes will lead the Bible Study and light refreshments will be served. Guests are welcome.

Visiting Dane and Sheryl West during the Christmas holidays were daughter Sarah Lobos and her two children, Luke and Claire of Baltimore, Md. Visiting John and Mary Atthowe over the holidays were their four daughters and families.

We fondly remember Megan, Meredith, Molly and Marie because at each High Bridge Christmas Eve service, they would come play their violins. We truly miss this treat!

During the holidays, Wayne and Annette Hickman hosted their annual Hickman/Fainter Christmas Eve dinner party with 18 in attendance this year.

The Natural Bridge/ Glasgow food pantry will be open Saturday, Jan 28, from 9 to 11 a.m. Pantry board members wish to thank all the volunteers who came out Jan. 12 to help sort over 2,000 pounds of nonperishable food items donated during the Natural Bridge State Park Festival of Trees.
