Book Sale At Regional Library This Week

The monthly book sale at the Rockbridge Regional Library in Lexington will be held this Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 7-9.

The sale hours are 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

There will be children’s activity books, a good collection of history and other nonfiction books in the sale, as well as the usual fiction books and many free magazines.

Prices range from 50 cents for paperback books to $2 for hardback books. The $2 bag sale will be all day on Saturday - fill a paper bag for $2.

Staff and volunteers work together to make the monthly book sale a success. Volunteers are needed for the days of the book sale, especially on Saturday. Volunteers work in shifts.

Anyone interested in volunteering to help with the book sale can fill out a volunteer form at the front desk of the library or request it online by emailing the librarian at the bottom of the website at https://www.rrlib.net.
