On Sunday, Sept. 3, the Rev. Malcolm Brownlee was the guest speaker at the 11 a.m. worship service of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church. Church members and friends of the congregation were reminded to submit changes of address, phone numbers, and email addresses to the church secretary ([email protected]) by Sunday, Sept. 10, for inclusion in the new Family and Friends Directory to be distributed on Sunday, Oct. 1.

On Sunday, Sept. 10, the CPC family will celebrate Rally Day in the church sanctuary at 11 a.m. Information on a new year of Christian education opportunities will be provided. Burr Datz will be the morning worship speaker.

The Collierstown United Methodist Church’s United Women in Faith will meet on Thursday, Sept. 7, at 6 p.m. at the church. Linda Painter will lead the evening’s program.

The Collierstown Presbyterian Women’s Night Circle will begin its 2023-24 Bible study year on Thursday, Sept. 7, at 7 p.m. in the church’s fellowship hall. Area women interested in participating are invited to attend. This year’s study is entitled “Christian Virtues” by Cindy Bunch, a senior editor for InterVarsity Press. On Sunday, Sept. 10, the Union View Advent Christian Church will have its annual homecoming celebration. The day’s activities begin with the morning worship service at 11 a.m. led by Pastor Nathaniel Rutan. Lunch and a time of fellowship will follow the worship hour. The afternoon program will feature inspiration and entertainment by Dorsey Hostetter and the Tri-Country Band. Union View Advent Christian Church is located at 4574 Turnpike Road in Collierstown.
