Gateway Garden Dedicated

Main Street Lexington dedicated its new Gateway Triangle Garden with a ribbon cutting last Tuesday, Aug. 29. On hand were representatives from Main Street Lexington, the city of Lexington, Washington and Lee University, Virginia Military Institute, Lexington Garden Club, the chamber of commerce, the Community Foundation for Rockbridge, Bath and Alleghany, and architects Arthur Bartenstein of ABL Landscape Architecture and Walter Garrett of Garrett Landscapes. The two-year project at the northern entrance to downtown Lexington was completed late this past spring.
