Shirley Cabell Coffey Humphreys, 88, of Vesuvius died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023.
She was born Aug. 8, 1935, in Coffeytown, daughter of the late Robey Coffey and Mamie Womack Coffey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse James Humphreys.
Mrs. Humphreys was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary Lee and Kimberly Humphreys; granddaughter, Katie Humphreys Funk (Stephen); two great-grandchildren, Klayton and Klark; sisters, Patsy C. Wingfield and Jeanie Hampton; and brother-in-law, Lowell Humphreys (Cherlyn).
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jay Thorne and Brother Dorsey Hostetter. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Church or a church of your choice to support the elderly.
Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
