Catapalooza Returns This Week

Cats Unlimited’s 18th annual Catapalooza fundraising yard sale is being held this Friday, Sept. 15, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 16, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Sam Houston Ruritan Auction Barn, 1260 Valley Pike Road.

Cats Unlimited’s 18th annual Catapalooza fundraising yard sale is being held this Friday, Sept. 15, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 16, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Sam Houston Ruritan Auction Barn, 1260 Valley Pike Road.

Many interesting, useful, and unique items will be available for purchase, including antiques, appliances, artwork, baskets, books, CDs, DVDs, candles, crafts, office supplies, children’s toys and books, kitchen items, glassware and housewares, dishes, “guy stuff,” home décor, decorating ideas, frames, pet supplies, picker items, seasonal decorations, women’s purses and other accessories, yard implements, tools, linens, collectibles (including Barbie ornaments), exercise equipment, sports memorabilia, golf clubs with bag, jewelry, Christmas and pet-related clothing and baked goods. Cats Unlimited’s Christmas Shoppe will be open to the public with everything imaginable to make you long for the winter months. Shop now and have everything ready in time for Christmas decorating and gift-giving.

All proceeds will benefit Cats Unlimited, which provides low-cost spay/neuter services to reduce the number of cats going to shelters and to improve their overall health and well being. Cats Unlimited has assisted with financing the spaying and neutering of 460 cats in the community so far this year for a grand total of 8,160 since 2004.
