Congratulations to the following students: Smith Hall was named to the dean’s list in the fall of 2022 semester at Grove City College. John Allio was named to the dean’s list in the spring semester at James Madison University. Logan Lotts was named to the dean’s list in the spring semester at Bridgewater College.

It was so good to have Pastor Tyler Clem back this morning at Vesuvius Baptist Church. He is still coughing periodically so keep him in prayer.

Gertie’s Country Store will hold the last fall market on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Come and check out all the vendors and their products.

Vesuvius Heritage Day will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23, from 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

I am hoping we will get some much needed rain this week as Hurricane Lee looks as though it may skirt the eastern coastline.
