Eva Ruth Roberts Smith, 70, of Lexington died Sept. 10

Eva Ruth Roberts Smith, 70, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023.

Born Dec. 19, 1952, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Ray Hurley Roberts and Gracie Branham Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sandy William Smith; brother, Hurley Ray Roberts; and sisters, Janet R. Compton and Peggy Ann Lipscomb.

Surviving is her son, Christopher Lee Smith; brothers, Melvin Roberts and James Edward Roberts; and sister, Barbara Jo Thurman.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
