William Ray Cash, 85, of Buena Vista died Monday, Sept. 18, 2023.  

William Ray Cash, 85, of Buena Vista passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2023.  

He was born Nov. 4, 1937, in Rockbridge County, the son of Thomas Cash and Bertha “Sis” Clark Cash.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Huffman Cash, and daughter, Teresa Cash.

Surviving are children, Jeffrey Cash, Darrell Cash (Cissy) and Heather Madison (Frankie); five grandchildren, SongMi Cash, John Cash, Raychel Mason, Benjamin Madison and Jonah Madison; and four great-grandchildren, Brandon Cash, Shayna Cash, Caleb Mason, Caden Mason.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. W. David Bain.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
