ALBERT BREEDLOVE

Albert Burton Breedlove, 94, passed away peacefully on Sept. 13, 2023.

He was born on March 14, 1929, to Arthur Breedlove and Edna Ramsey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven Butch Breedlove, and his brother, James Calvin Breedlove.

He is survived by his longtime friend and caregiver, Juanita Farrow, who was by his side until the end.

Burton was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. He was a past vice commander with the American Legion and a dedicated volunteer at the VA Hospital for 15 years. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and patriotism and missed by many close friends and family.

A graveside service was conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Carl Pattison.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice in his memory.
