Thanks to Linda Trumbo of Covington for bringing the morning message this past Sunday at High Bridge Presbyterian Church. Next Sunday, Joe Hawes will deliver the message.

Visiting her home church last Sunday was Nancy Tolley Hostetter of Lexington.

The last Hootenanny for the season will be held at the church pavilion tomorrow, Thursday, Sunday 21, at 7 p.m.

Congratulations to Gabriel Isaiah and Arabella Celestine Tolley who renewed their marriage vows on Saturday, Sept. 2, with lay minister Larry Creamer, grandfather of the groom, officiating. In attendance with family and friends were Audrey Armentrout, great-grandmother of the groom; Sharon Creamer, David and Carol Tolley, grandparents of the groom; Travis Sharon Ann and Bear Tolley, parents of the groom; and Connie Powell, the groom’s aunt and honorary grandmother. Arabella’s mother, Reginia Brown, gave her daughter away. The bridesmaids included Eviana Tolley, daughter of the couple. The ceremony was held in Honaker.

Congratulations to Josh and Heather Moore on the birth of daughter Mary “Olivia” Moore on Aug. 12.

Lloyd and Esther Pennington attended the Clements family reunion held at the Timber Ridge Presbyterian fellowship building.

Brenda and Jane Shafer and Cathy Ayers went on an Abbott bus lines mystery trip last Saturday and traveled to Burkes Garden in Tazewell. They also toured the Pocahontas Exhibition Coal Mine and ended up at Wohlfahrt House Dinner Theater.

The Natural Bridge/Glasgow food pantry will be open Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Weekday Religious Education will have their themed fundraiser basket bingo Nov. 4, at 4 p.m.
