William Ray Cash, 85, of Buena Vista died Sept. 18

William Ray Cash, 85, of Buena Vista, passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2023. 

He was born Nov. 4, 1937, in Rockbridge County, the son of the late Thomas Cash and Bertha “Sis” Clark Cash.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Huffman Cash, and daughter, Teresa Cash.

Surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Cash and Darrell Cash (Cissy); a daughter, Heather Madison (Frankie); five grandchildren, SongMi Cash, John Cash, Raychel Mason, Benjamin Madison and Jonah Madison; and four great-grandchildren, Brandon Cash, Shayna Cash, Caleb Mason and Caden Mason.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W. David Bain officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
