Tourism Board Offering Grants For Events

Rockbridge Regional Tourism Board is offering a sponsorship opportunity for local tourism events in Lexington, Buena Vista and Rockbridge County.

The window for completing an application for spring 2024 sponsorship is Oct. 5 through Nov. 5. Awards will be announced during the last week of November.

Applicants must be organizers of an event occurring between Jan. 1 and June 30, 2024 and located within Lexington, Buena Vista or Rockbridge County to be eligible.

The Rockbridge Regional Tourism Board will award monies based on the strength of the request, if the event will attract out-of-town visitors, and how well the event aligns with tourism goals and objectives for the entire region. Sponsorship funds totaling $10,000 will be distributed the last week of December 2023.
