The members of Artists in Cahoots will hold a First Friday reception featuring a retrospective of the pottery and jewelry career of Maureen Worth on Friday, Oct. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m.
A founding member of the gallery, Worth has been actively involved with Artists in Cahoots for 40 years. In collaboration with her daughter, Rebecca, she creates wheel-thrown pottery, hand-built tiles and trays, a ceramic line of sculpted botanical jewelry, and the trademarked Lexington Brick jewelry collection featuring earrings, pendants, bracelets, and rings in sterling, bronze, and 14k gold.
Each month, the gallery will be honoring past members, and gallery history, and celebrate how local art is an important part of the fabric of the Lexington downtown community.
