Habitat ‘Friend Raiser’ At Great Valley Sunday

Rockbridge Area Habitat for Humanity will host its annual Chill on the Hill “friend raiser” at Great Valley Farm Brewery & Winery on Sunday, Oct. 1, from noon to 3 p.m.

Chill on the Hill will feature live music by Datz Us Ramblers and food by LexVegas Bistro and Old Lex Mercantile. Attendees will be able to purchase meal tickets for $20 which can be exchanged for a meal with either vendor. Meal tickets will be available by onsite purchase only and will not be available in advance. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be offered by Great Valley Farm Brewery & Winery. A percentage of all food and beverage sales will also go towards supporting Rockbridge Area Habitat’s affordable housing mission.

Rockbridge Area Habitat offers local income-stressed families a hand up, not a handout as it partners with them to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable housing.
