VIRGINIA FLINT

Virginia Austin Flint, 99, of Glasgow passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, at Shenandoah Health & Rehab.

Born July 15, 1924, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late John Isaac Austin and Clemmie Hawkins Austin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Loyd Flint Sr., and a son, Johnny Flint.

Virginia was a faithful member of Natural Bridge Baptist Church for many years and was a devoted wife and loving mother of four daughters and three sons. She enjoyed spending quality time with all her children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also she enjoyed walking, gardening, cooking and canning. Virginia had a very upbeat positive and loving way about her. She will be missed by many friends old and new.

A graveside service was conducted Friday, Sept. 22, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Donald Stine.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Natural Bridge Baptist Church.
