New Monmouth Presbyterian Church members gathered for worship on Sunday morning, and welcomed several new members during the service. A very warm welcome to Bill and Leil Hackett, Amy Scheuer, Nathaniel Hackett, and Laura Shell! The praise team led the congregation in singing “Greater than our hearts.” Laura and Dianne provided the offertory, “Magnificent, Marvelous, Matchless Love.”
The children’s group piano lessons continued this week with Laura Hotinger.
Pastor Rachel Clark, Deb Jarrett, Erin Graves and Alex Slaydon attended a conference in Charleston, S.C., on the topic of C.S. Lewis and the beautiful story of our faith.
There will be a Fat Tuesday pancake dinner at church on Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 5 to 6:30. The following day, Feb. 22, will be our Ash Wednesday service at church at 6 p.m.
