Mickey Moxley, 76, of Glasgow died Sept. 28

Mickey Moxley, 76, of Glasgow died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, at his home.

Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin "Pete" Moxley and Nellie Moxley.

He worked as a machinist at the Newport News Shipyard and retired from RR Donnelley in Lynchburg.

Mickey was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joelle P. Moxley; his daughter Michelle Castelluccio and her husband Gene; his son Michael B. Moxley and his wife Emerita; his grandchildren Cassandra Moxley, Mika Moxley, Mia Castelluccio, Michael Moxley, Megan Moxley, Caitlain Castelluccio and Jenna Castelluccio; his sister Barbara Moxley; his aunt Emily Moxley; and sister-in-laws Deidre Stevens and Laurel Dodgion.

The service will be held at a later time.
