Lisa Rogers has served on Glasgow Town Council for two years, and is up for reelection this November.
She has long been active in the Glasgow Lifesaving and First Aid Crew and the Glasgow Volunteer Fire Department. She has served on Parks and Recreation Committee, and at one time headed up and umpired the local co-ed softball league.
She has worked in the Rockbridge County Commissioner of Revenue office, helping to handle personal property, real estate, lodging and food taxes for the county. During her time there, she also completed and filed business license and yearly Virginia Department of Taxation forms for Rockbridge County residents.
She has also worked as a nurse on the cardiac floor, preparing and caring for patients after open-heart surgery or heart stents.
She is married to Roman Rogers, and they are the parents of three daughters, and four grandchildren.
