The Rockbridge Baths Community Organization is working with Rockbridge Area Health Center to bring its second annual vaccine clinic to Rockbridge Baths on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Both flu and Covid shots will be available at the Rockbridge Baths Volunteer Fire Department that day. Participants must register by Friday, Oct. 13, to ensure inventory availability and provide insurance information or discuss other options. Call RAHC at (540) 4648700, ext. 7110, to register. Callers should state which shot or if they want both. No walk-ins will be allowed.
RBCO is a volunteer organization supported by United Way and community donations. It strives to help people and build upon the sense of community in the Rockbridge Baths area. RBCO holds events that bring neighbors together for education, recreation, socialization and improved health. These have included such things as yoga and exercise classes, summer farmers’ market, community lunches, history presentations and totally free markets.
