Betty Jane Taliaferro Hayslett, 96, of Lexington passed away Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023.

Born July 23, 1927, in Clifton Forge, she was a daughter of the late George Taliaferro and Edith Brooks Taliaferro.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cornelius Hayslett.

Surviving are her daughter, Rebecca Barnett of Alabama; nieces, Peggy Walton of Richmond and Kaki Higgins of Clifton Forge; closest life-time friend, Anne Tuttle, of Washington state; and special friends and caregivers of 14 years, Betty and Robert Ramsey of Lexington.

Service will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
