Theresa Helaine Cox, age 64, of Lexington passed away on Sept. 14, 2023, after a four-year battle with cancer.
Theresa was born on July 14, 1959, in Baltimore, Md.
Theresa loved animals, music, arts and crafts, dancing and the beach.
Theresa is survived by her sister, Cathy Cox; chosen family Deborah and Jerry Dameron, Scott, Elizabeth, Andrea, Honesty, Devin, Nicole, Madison, Matthew, Phoenix and Drakyn; special friends, Joyce Camden, Bonnie and Toby Mcghee; and many loving friends in the community.
A memorial service will be conducted on Oct. 21, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Miller Cemetery on Broad Creek Church Road by Pastor Terry Bostic. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rockbridge SPCA.
