Tuesday, Oct. 17 – The Rockbridge County High School volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 Senior Night win at home over Valley District rival Harrisonburg on Monday night in Lexington.
With the 25-17, 25-11, 25-7 victory, the Wildcats extended their winning streak to 15 matches and improved to 19-1 overall and 9-0 in the district.
Before the match, the Wildcats honored their five seniors: McKenzie Burch, Maddie Dahl, Sophia Perlozzo, Nala Shearer and Sophie Vaught.
The Wildcats will continue district action at Spotswood tonight, Tuesday, before playing host to Turner Ashby for the final match of the regular season on Thursday, starting with junior varsity action at 5:30 p.m. on both nights.
