Congratulations to Natural Bridge native Carrie VanOsten Lehman and husband Zack Lehman on their recent graduation as Virginia state troopers. The couple received their diplomas on Friday at the State Police Training Academy in North Chesterfield County. Gov. Glenn Youngkin spoke at the ceremony.
Local resident Dave VanOsten and his son Andy VanOsten played on the Guns Team this past weekend at the Guns & Hoses Hockey Game held at the Berglund Center in Roanoke. Guns and Hoses is an annual charity ice hockey game that benefits local charities.
The Southwest Virginia Hunter Jumper Association held their 2022 awards banquet this past Saturday at the Natural Bridge Hotel Conference Center. SWVHJA offers numerous yearend awards to members who show in recognized horse show divisions.
Rabbi Neal Surasky of Chosen People Ministries was the guest speaker at Faith Baptist Church this past Sunday. Coming up at Faith Baptist, Ladies Fellowship Time will be Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. The church’s Valentine dinner will be held on Feb. 12.
