Library Lockers Available In Fairfield

Do you wish you could check-out library materials, but can’t get to the library during open hours?

The Rockbridge Regional Library System now offers lockers for cardholders to pick up reserved library materials at the Fairfield Volunteer Rescue Squad building. The lockers are well lit and available at all times.

Bookmobile service will continue at Dottie’s Market each Thursday from 2. until 4 p.m.

To use the lockers, visit the Rockbridge Regional Library website at www.rrlib.net, or download RRL’s mobile app from your device’s app store to search or browse titles, then place a hold with “Fairfield lockers” designated as the pickup location.

Once notified that the hold is available, visit the locker, scan your library card barcode or enter the number using the keyboard icon on the screen, and the locker will open.

Materials can be returned without a library card in a locker marked “returns,” or at any RRL library branch.

To get a library card, visit any branch or fill out an application at the library website at www.rrlib.net.
