Rachel Clark, (630) 607-9938 [email protected] A congregational meeting was held on Sunday at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church to elect a nominating committee. Thank you to Tim Hodges, Tim Welsh, Deb Jarrett and Alex Slaydon for agreeing to serve on this committee. Session met for their monthly meeting following the congregational meeting. Thanks to Hope Bird for providing lunch. The youths continue to collect used greeting cards to be used for a craft project. Please contact Janeen Welsh if join have any to donate. The youth group will meet this Sunday after worship for lunch, a hike, and dinner! Please let Tim or Janeen know if you plan to attend.
Our renewal weekend is coming up fast! Please plan to participate in as much of the weekend as you are able. Friday evening is a chili dinner (provided) but we are asking folks to bring cornbread or pie to share! Saturday morning we will have time for study and reflection, and Karen Swallow Prior will give a presentation at 2. The weekend will conclude with music Sunday and a potluck lunch (chicken and drinks provided). Please bring a dish to share! We are excited to gather and learn together.
