BOB DRIVER

Robert Jett “Bob” Driver, 89, of Farmville, formerly of Brownsburg, died Oct. 15, 2023.

A lieutenant colonel in the Marine Corps who served in Vietnam, Driver was a long-time Civil War historian and prolific author of books about Civil War soldiers.

A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct 20, at 11:30 a.m. at New Providence Church Cemetery in Raphine. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family. N-G
