Last Monday, my uncle Terry Brooks passed away. His burial was at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church on Friday. My brother, Leon Hamilton, was in visiting so we were able to attend his graveside service together. My friend, Edna Collins, passed away Wednesday.

During all of this, I went to Yorktown to pick up a classmate/friend. Friday night was our meet and greet for our 55th class reunion. Saturday evening at the Elks Club in Waynesboro, we had music, dancing, food and a whole lot of talking and laughter. I will forever be grateful to be a part of the Waynesboro High School Class of 1968.

The Vesuvius Community Association will be holding their Holiday Xpress Bazaar Nov. 11 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. We have room for some additional crafters. Contact me at the phone number above.
