Pursuant to Code of Virginia Sections 15.2-2204 and 15.2-1800, and the City of Buena Vista Land Development Regulations, notice is given that the City Council of the City of Buena Vista will hold a public hearing to receive comment on the following matters. 1) R6 Residential Planned Unit Development zone Plan of Development for 33 acres on Beverly Hollow Rd, Tax Map 66-1—-5, for one (1) single-family house and private driveway 2) Abandonment of City Right of Way: 200 feet of alley in Block 44, Section 5, adjacent to 225 Ridge Avenue 3) Amendment to Sections 8-21 and 8-244 of the Code of the City of Buena Vista relating to City adoption of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code, for the purpose of updated referenced third-party codes The Public Hearing will be held in Council Chambers, City Hall, 2039 Sycamore Ave, Buena Vista VA 24416. ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
Notice is hereby given per Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia and Section 808 of the County of Rockbridge Land Development Regulations (the Regulations) that a public hearing will be held by the Rockbridge County Planning Commission on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at or after 7:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room in the County Administration Building, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia 24450 to consider the following application: 1) PFJ Southeast LLC, PO Box 54710,Lexington,Kentucky, 40555 has made an application to amend the conditions of the current Special Exception Permit to expand the existing garage associated with the truck stop on the property. The property is identified as 711 and 713 Oakland Circle, Raphine, Virginia 24472 and is located on the west side of the intersection of Raphine Road (Route 606) and Oakland Circle (Route 917). The property is owned by PFJ Southeast LLC and is further identified as tax map number 28-A-14C. The property is in the General Business (B-1) Zoning District. Per section 605.03-18 of the Regulations, truck stops, truck terminals, and truck relay stations are a use by special exception in the B-1 District. The existing special exception permit was approved by the Board of Supervisors on April 24, 2017. The purpose of the pending application is to modify an existing condition of the current special exception permit to add a fourth bay to the existing garage. The property is located in the Walkers Creek Magisterial District.
