During downtown Buena Vista’s Spooktacular event, Rockbridge Community Church of the Nazarene will welcome candy seekers and their families with even more treats and an affordable meal.
On Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m., visitors to 906 Magnolia Ave. will be greeted with decorated trunks and costumed hosts giving away candy as well as non-edible treats. After guests make their rounds outside, they are encouraged to step inside where an affordable meal of hot dogs, chips, and drinks awaits.
“Our doors are always open to our neighbors, and we’re excited to host this first trunk or treat as one more way to welcome them,” said Pastor Scott Beattie.
All proceeds from food and beverage sales will benefit the youth and children’s ministry at Rockbridge Community Church of the Nazarene.
