Anne Henderson hosted coffee hour at St. John’s Episcopal Church this past Sunday.

The Thunder BRidge Community Arts and Culture Center in Arnolds Valley will be hosting an open house event on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Twelve resident artist studios will be open to the public for touring. In addition, at least 10 guest artists will be sharing their work. Food and drinks will be available, with music in the late afternoon by The Honey Dewdrops and Jordy Gibbons. Thunder BRidge is located at 1425 Arnolds Valley Road in Natural Bridge Station, site of the former Natural Bridge Juvenile Corrections Center.

Our sincerest condolences are extended to the Ballard, Dudley and Wallace families remembering Lannie Ballard, Lisa Dudley and Charlene Wallace. A memorial service for Lannie Ballard will be held at Faith Baptist Church on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m.

Happy anniversary to Andrew and Tabitha Wilson in Harrisonburg from their Valley friends.

Faith Baptist Church will be having a Men’s Prayer Breakfast this morning at 8. The church’s Halloween trunk or treat event will take place on Oct. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. The church’s homecoming will be on Nov. 5.

Many thanks to the Rev. Brad Laycock for leading a Holy Eucharist service this past Sunday at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Thanks also to Bert Buford and Josh Gardner for providing music for the service. Thanks also to Lynn Williams for hosting coffee hour.
