Tuesday, Oct. 31 – The Rockbridge County High School volleyball team bounced back after losing the first set to earn a 3-1 home win over East Rockingham in the Region 3C quarterfinals on Tuesday night in Lexington.
With the 22-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-8 victory, the Wildcats (25-1), the top seed in the tournament, won their 21st consecutive match. In the Region 3C semifinals, the Wildcats will play host to either Spotswood on Thursday at 7 p.m.
During the match, RC senior setter McKenzie Burch was honored for dishing out her 2,000th career assist five days earlier against East Rock.
