The next Rockbridge Regional Library book sale starts tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. and continues on Friday, Nov. 3, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Beginning with the November sale, prices have been lowered for children’s books (50 cents) and audiobooks ($1). Other print book prices range from 50 cents for paperbacks to $2 for hardbacks. There will be a $2 bag sale all day on Saturday ‒ fill a paper bag for $2.
The November sale will include lots of children’s activity books, a good collection of history and other nonfiction adult books, as well as fiction, paperbacks and free magazines.
Staff and volunteers work together to make the monthly book sale a success. Volunteers are needed for the days of the book sale, especially on Saturday. Volunteers work in shifts. Anyone interested in volunteering to help with the book sale can ask to fill out a volunteer form at the service desk or email the librarian, [email protected].
