Falls Prevention Bingo

VPAS Cafe members concentrate on their Falls Prevention Bingo sheets at Maury River Senior Services in Buena Vista last month. Falls Prevention Bingo is played like traditional bingo, except the bingo numbers have been replaced with falls prevention information to help keep older adults safe at home and out in the community. Tips include how to keep your balance in a crowd, how to protect your muscles with exercise, and the importance of taking care of your feet. Other versions of bingo are played throughout year at the Buena Vista VPAS location.
